Wednesday WIP

A little work in progress from my sewing table.

I recently started working on a new mini quilt. Mini quilts are always such satisfying projects because they allow complete creative freedom while still being manageable to finish relatively quickly.

At this stage, the project is still coming together, but I already love the colors and the playful feeling of the fabrics.

Watching a quilt slowly evolve from scattered fabric pieces into something cohesive is honestly one of my favorite parts of the entire quilting process.

Small projects like these are also the perfect opportunity to experiment with new quilting ideas before trying them on larger quilts.
