Wednesday WIP

 

I am completely in love with these little pixel people.

Lately I’ve been taking small breaks from quilting and sewing to work on embroidery projects, and this one instantly became a favorite.

There is something incredibly charming and nostalgic about pixel-inspired embroidery designs—they feel playful, modern, and slightly geeky all at once.

The pattern I chose comes from the talented shop Wee Little Stitches on Etsy, which creates wonderful pixel people and pop culture inspired cross stitch patterns.

As soon as I started stitching, I knew this project would eventually end up hanging on my wall.

It’s one of those creative projects that immediately makes you smile while working on it.

I love how embroidery, much like quilting, allows tiny stitches and small pieces of thread to slowly transform into an entire image.

Watching the design appear stitch by stitch is always such a relaxing process.

Now I just need patience to finish it.
