Wednesday WIP

A few months ago I bought some absolutely incredible solid fabrics, and honestly, I was not prepared for how beautiful they would be in real life.

The colors already looked amazing in the online photos, but when the fabrics finally arrived, the surprise was indescribable.

The texture, softness, and overall quality felt completely different from any solid fabrics I had used before.

I am talking about the beautiful Pure Elements solids by Art Gallery Fabrics .

The colors are rich and modern, and the fabric itself has an incredibly smooth and luxurious feel that instantly makes you want to start sewing.

As soon as I saw a gorgeous quilt online made with these fabrics, I immediately knew I had to make my own version.

Right now I’m still in the cutting phase, but I’m already excited to see how the quilt will come together.

The original quilt design uses the classic Disappearing Nine Patch quilt block, which is one of the easiest and most satisfying patchwork blocks to make.

It’s beginner-friendly, fast to sew, and always creates beautiful results.

If you’ve never tried the Disappearing Nine Patch technique before, I found a wonderful tutorial on YouTube that explains the process step by step and makes the block incredibly easy to understand.

I’m sure many of you are also working on creative projects today.

Have a wonderfully productive and WIP-filled Wednesday!
