Pure quilt

Pure Elements by Art Gallery Fabrics has honestly been a revelation for me.

These fabrics are absolutely perfect for spring and summer quilting projects.

The colors are vibrant yet soft, modern yet timeless, and the texture of the cotton feels incredibly luxurious while sewing.

Working with them has been such a satisfying experience from beginning to end.

The quality of these solids truly stands out, and they instantly elevate even the simplest quilt designs.

Naturally, I decided to name this quilt “Pure”.

The original inspiration for the design was not mine, although I did not follow the official pattern while piecing the quilt.

I mostly improvised the construction myself once I understood the overall layout concept.

The quilt is based on a classic Disappearing Nine Patch design, which is surprisingly beginner-friendly, although arranging the colors and placement took much more planning than I originally expected.

The original quilt kit is available from Spool Sewing.

From the moment I first saw the quilt, it was truly love at first sight.

The colors are exactly the kind of palette I always gravitate toward: clean, modern, colorful, and bright without becoming overwhelming.

For the backing fabric, I also chose an Art Gallery Fabrics print because I didn’t want to compromise the overall feel and quality of the quilt by mixing different cotton textures.

The backing belongs to the beautiful Bespoken collection designed by Patricia Bravo, and honestly I adore it just as much as the quilt top itself.

The Pure Quilt was originally available in my Etsy shop, but it has now officially found a new home.
