Swooning
I am officially on vacation... every day we are at the beach swimming, drinking coffee, and trying to slow down a little.
The strange thing is that I wake up every morning at 6:30, and because everyone else is still sleeping, I finally have some quiet time to work on my Swoon quilt.
This is my first attempt at making a Swoon quilt and oh boy... it is HUGE. I honestly have no idea how I’m going to quilt this thing on my tiny Pfaff machine. I’m seriously considering sending it to a professional long-arm quilter. (If anyone knows someone in Europe, please message me!)
I didn’t have time to participate in the previous quilt-a-long, so I was really excited to hear about this new one. If you’d like to join, you can link your projects in the Flickr group: Swoon 2013.
Now on this week's statistics
Dresden quilt: I left the handquilting for the winter.
Checkers quilt: basting.
Butterfly quilt: yes finally I am quilting this eternal UFO
Skill Builder BOM: standing still.
Summary of this week's stats
Completed projects – 0
New projects – 0 (I will not start a new project until I've finished all my UFOs. I promise!!!)
Currently in progress – 5
Now it is your turn! Hop over to Freshly Pieced and take a peek at what everyone else is working on.
