Lavender sachets as christening favors #2
This summer I made these beautiful lavender sachets using selected 30’s reproduction fabrics that perfectly matched the customer’s taste for her daughter’s christening.
Each sachet was filled with lavender and soft polyester stuffing, while the fabrics ranged from yellows and purples to reds and blues. A tiny button in the center created a soft pillow-like effect, and a white ribbon was sewn into one corner so the sachets could easily hang anywhere.
They can be used to decorate a baby’s bedroom — lavender has such a calming effect — but they also work beautifully inside wardrobes, drawers, or even in the car.
A listing for a set of 20 lavender sachets can be found in my Etsy shop.
I also made a few for my Christmas tree, using only red and green fabrics, and they turned out absolutely adorable. If you love vintage or cottage-style Christmas decorations, these little sachets make perfect ornaments.
A listing for individual lavender sachets in festive red and green hues can also be found in the shop.
I’m always happy to work together on custom orders and special color combinations, so feel free to visit my shop for more handmade creations!
