Embracing Easter!

 

Easter is finally here, and it began with finishing this wonderful custom order for two young girls.

I machine appliquéd their names onto quilted pillow covers, each closing with a matching zipper at the back.

Isn’t it so much fun using beautiful fabrics to create gifts for children?

To accompany the pillows, I also made two cute matryoshka plush dolls and tied them onto Easter candles — a tradition we have here in Greece for Holy Saturday night.
