Lady Gaga Pixel quilt

And the mystery quilt is finally revealed: our very own Pixel Quilt!

We needed the quilt ready for our Quilt Exhibition on the 21st of June, and so the Lady Gaga Pixel Quilt came to life in less than two weeks!

Four people contributed to the making of this quilt, and it was such a fun — and challenging — project for all of us.

This was my first attempt at making a pixel quilt and, in order to draft the pattern, I used the V&A Pattern Maker, which works wonderfully — especially when using graphic or comic-style images.

The quilt measures 60 x 60 inches and was truly a collective effort by our quilt group.

What I enjoyed most was seeing how quickly everything came together once we started piecing the blocks.

On Thursday I will be posting more about our amazing quilt exhibition here in Thessaloniki — don’t miss it! So many beautiful quilts were presented.

Until then, have a lovely day!

Now it is your turn! Hop over to Freshly Pieced and take a peek at what everyone else is working on.

Also linking over to Crazy Mom Quilts for another wonderful Finish It Up Friday!
