Mostly known as the Chevron Block, but its "official" name is Banner. Simple half square triangles and voila!

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BANNER QUILT BLOCK

This is a very easy block, based on the most basic block of the quilting art. The half square triangle.

Always remember FINISHED SIZE means the size it will be in a completed quilt. The measurements given already have the ¼ inch allowance included.

Finished Block Size	Cut 2 squares from Dark & Light fabric
4 inches	2-7/8 inches
8 inches	4-7/8 inches
12 inches	6-7/8 inches
16 inches	8-7/8 inches
