I really like the Album quilt block for its simplicity. It is great for a beginner!

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ALBUM QUILT BLOCK

The Album quilt block can make a beautiful quilt given you choose fabrics according to color value. Everything will pop so beautifully with the right colors.

Always remember FINISHED SIZE means the size it will be in a completed quilt. The measurements given already have the ¼ inch allowance included.

*SQ = Square/Squares

Finished Block Size	Cut 8 squares from Medium fabric	Cut 4 rectangles from Dark fabric	Cut 1 square from Medium fabric	Cut 2 squares from Light fabric
4 inches	1.5 inches	1.5 x 2.5 inches	2.5 inches	1.5 inches
8 inches	2.5 inches	2.5 x 4.5 inches	4.5 inches	2.5 inches
12 inches	3.5 inches	3.5 x 6.5 inches	6.5 inches	3.5 inches
