Farmer’s Wife QAL week 5: Snowball and Bowtie (Step-by-Step Video Tutorials)

Happy New Year! I’m finally back to blogging and crafting after a slightly extended Christmas break. It feels so good to start the year with fresh inspiration and new quilting projects.

This week marks a new beginning with the Farmer's Wife Quilt Along, and I’m excited to continue following my schedule.

For this week’s blocks, I created no. 81 Snowball and no. 10 Bowtie, using foundation paper piecing and a mix of beautiful Lecien and Moda fabrics.

Farmer's Wife Quilt Block no. 81: Snowball

The Snowball quilt block is a timeless and versatile design. It’s a great block for showcasing fabric combinations, and foundation paper piecing helps achieve clean, sharp corners.

Farmer's Wife Quilt Block no. 10: Bowtie

The Bowtie quilt block is a fun and classic pattern that works beautifully with contrasting fabrics. It’s quick to sew and perfect for adding a playful touch to your quilt.
