Maple Leaf quilt block
The Maple Leaf quilt block is a nine patch block that is usually used for an autumn quilt. It is a classic block but it can also be interpreted in a modern quilt.
The block is also featured in the Farmer's Wife Quilt series, as in many sampler quilts.
Cutting Instructions for the Maple Leaf quilt block
The stem of the Maple Leaf quilt block can be made in different ways. I am showing you the easier way. If you need a narrower stem then follow this tutorial.
Always be careful of the colors you are choosing. They can easily mess up your block (or quilt) or, on the contrary, make it shine! I recommend making a test block first before cutting for the full quilt.
Always remember FINISHED SIZE means the size it will be in a completed quilt. The measurements already include the ¼ inch seam allowance.
