Blogger’s Quilt Festival 2015: Dresden quilt

Welcome, Blogger's Quilt Festival friends! So glad you could stop by! I am entering this 3-year quilt project in the Hand Quilted Quilts Category and the Applique Quilts Category . Stop by and vote for me!

Some words about this quilt:

A three-year project finally finished before the end of 2014. After so many hand quilting stitches, I admit I really miss working on it. I am already planning another long-term quilting project, just to have something around to complain lovingly about.

This is going to be the very first quilt I will actually keep for our family! My only problem is figuring out how to wash it safely before using it. I have to wait until summertime, otherwise I fear the humid weather will ruin it.
