Mei-Tai baby carrier with Tardis
Way back in November, I commissioned a wonderful maker, Kitrino, to create a Mei-Tai carrier for my son. I made the front panel myself, while she completed the rest of the carrier — and honestly, it was love at first sight!
The result turned out absolutely perfect. Our little one instantly loved it and was finally able to nap peacefully inside it — which was a huge relief since daytime sleep had been quite a challenge for us. Now we go everywhere wearing it. The moment he is held close inside the Mei-Tai, either by me or his father, he immediately calms down.
I would honestly recommend a Mei-Tai carrier to anyone with a baby older than 1.5 months. It is such a beautiful bonding experience and makes everyday life so much easier.
The TARDIS design was created using foundation paper piecing with a combination of solid fabrics and Cotton + Steel basics. The pattern is the wonderful free Doctor Who QAL TARDIS block by Trillium Design.
A huge thank you to Kitrino for helping us create our dream Mei-Tai, and to Trillium Design for such an amazing pattern!
