Sister's Choice quilt block could also be described as a nine patch star! The version we are presenting here is actually named Churn Dasher. Below you can find information for some of the other variations of this beautiful block.

Cutting Instructions for the Sister's Choice quilt block

Always be careful with the colors you choose. They can easily mess up your block or quilt, or make it shine! I prefer making a test block before cutting pieces for the whole quilt.

Always remember FINISHED SIZE means the size it will be in a completed quilt. The measurements already include the ¼ inch seam allowance.

Block variations

There are many variations for the Sister's Choice quilt block, but they are all easy to understand. In some blocks you will need 2 or 3 color combinations, so be careful with fabric placement, HST orientation, and cutting.

The Butterfly at the Crossroads block and the Farmer's Daughter block can be found in the Farmer's Wife Quilt series. I have already posted about them here and here.
