Farmer’s Wife QAL week 4: Autumn Tints and Practical Orchard (with video tutorials)

I hope everyone is getting into the festive spirit and planning their Christmas holidays — I definitely did this weekend! With the new week starting, it's time to continue with the Farmer's Wife Quilt Along.

For this week's Farmer’s Wife QAL, I created two beautiful quilt blocks: no. 2 Autumn Tints and no. 69 Practical Orchard, using foundation paper piecing and a mix of Lecien and Riley Blake fabrics.

Farmer's Wife Quilt Block no. 2: Autumn Tints

The Autumn Tints block is a classic and elegant design that really shines when using soft, coordinated fabrics. Foundation paper piecing helps achieve clean lines and sharp angles.

Farmer's Wife Quilt Block no. 69: Practical Orchard

The Practical Orchard block is another beautiful addition to the quilt. Its geometric layout stands out, especially when combined with carefully chosen fabric contrasts.
